Trip Info

This meditation retreat will introduce you to sitting and walking meditation in the zen tradition. For first time participants, we meet at 6:15 for orientation. You may choose one of several sitting options including chairs or cushions.

We open with a traditional chant in English. You will then sit silently for 25 minutes, walk for 10 minutes and then sit again for a final 25 minutes. After the meditation period, we follow with several short traditional chants and then begin our open discussion/sharing. Occasionally, we Skype in a dharma talk by a noted teacher or plat a pre-recorded dharma talk. This retreat is great for people of all ages and can be done for groups, families or individuals.

If you are looking for one of the best meditation retreats in Florida, this is the retreat for you!
