Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Agdez – Draa valley – Zagora
We will start our journey to cross the High Atlas Mountains (Tizi’n'Tichka at 2260m altitude). We will travel 30 km before reaching Ouarzazate, where we will stop for a visit of the Kasbah of Ait-Ben Haddou, an UNESCO World Heritage site. After lunch in Ouarzazate, we will take you through the famous Draa Valley. Once we arrive in Zagora, we will go for a camel ride, and spend the night in the nomadic tents under the stars.
Day 2: Zagora – Draa valley – Agdez – Ouarzazate – Tizi-N-Ticha – Marrakech
Wake up early to see the sunrise over the dunes after a typical breakfast in the bivouac of Zagora. Return (camel ride) to your 4×4, then drive back to Marrakech via Ouarzazate.
We look forward to guiding you!

Rachid is an experienced mountain guide through the mountains of Morocco, safely guiding many tours and showing the majesty of the mountains. He organizes trekking trips within Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains emphasizing a community-friendly approach. His trekking options include Mount Toubkal ascent, walking the High Atlas valleys, and treks through Berber villages revealing the breathtaking quiet beauty of adjacent valleys. Our activities rely on the knowledge, strong limbs and hospitality of the Berber people, who work as local guides, muleteers and accommodation providers. We believe they are the people who can tell the most about their culture, traditions and way of life to make the whole trekking experience unique and authentic. As an organizer of community-friendly trekking, Rachid creates job opportunities for the locals and raises money for community projects.
