Trip Info

Enjoy a unique experience as you focus on yoga and meditation with the beautiful Himalayan environment to enhance these spiritual practices. Each day, you will participate in trekking, yoga and meditation with your yoga and meditation instructor, who will be there to guide you along your journey. We will also have a three-hour river journey and a visit to Shree Jala Kanya Parimaki Primary School, which was lost in the earthquake in 2015.

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be welcomed by your trip leader at the airport. Transfer to your hotel and relax and recover from your journey. You will then have a welcome dinner at a restaurant and have a group meeting about the trip starting the next day.

Have an early rise and yoga before breakfast. Afterwards, we drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, which will take approximately six hours. We will have lunch along the way and when we arrive spend time acclimatizing and getting familiar with this amazing environment. Enjoy an evening meditation before your overnight at the lodge.

In the morning, we begin our journey and trek up into the mountains. along the way experience breathtaking views of the Himalaya. At lunchtime, we will have time for meditation and cultivate stillness of mind and heart in this rich magnificent landscape. We trek in the afternoon to Tatopani where there are hot springs to enjoy. Spend overnight in guesthouse in Tatopani.

The next day, we trek back to Sybrubesi. This will enable the group to become acclimatized to the surroundings and allow time for deep spiritual immersion through yoga and meditation. Have an overnight in guesthouse.

In the morning, the trekking will be more familiar and we will experience the wild rugged terrain and see the local Nepali people living their traditional way of life. Have lunch and then walk along the beautiful track in the afternoon to your destination Thulo Syabrubesi.

The path winds up and down today as we enjoy the wildflowers and alpine terrain and experience the friendly waves and greeting of the traditional local people. After lunch, we trek up to Cholangpaii for overnight in guesthouse.

On day seven, we trek to Gosaikunda. The terrain is like none other as you climb higher into the Himalayan Mountains. After lunch, we trek to your stopping point for four nights at the spectacular Lake Gosaikunda at a lodge. For the next three days, we do yoga, meditation, retreat and relaxation around the beautiful lake.

After being up at altitude for a couple of days, enjoy the descent down the track to the village of Dhumche. After lunch, we will have a leisurely walk down to your overnight guesthouse.

After breakfast, we drive to Devighat with an approximately two-hour drive. After lunch, we get ready for white water rafting trip on Trishuli River. We camp on the riverside at Baireni for the night and the next morning have breakfast and hike up to the Shree Jala Kanya Paramaki School. This school is part of a project that we are helping to rebuild. Spend one night and two days visiting this community and assisting with teaching or doing sports activities with the school. Immerse yourself in the beautiful culture and mountain environment.

Have breakfast and spend time teaching the children in different ways, whatever you are comfortable with such as sports, English, Art or Health. After lunch, pack up and walk an hour and a half down to the main highway to our bus for a drive back to Kathmandu. Refresh at your hotel before enjoying a group celebration dinner.

The next day, spend time shopping and enjoying the sites of Kathmandu. Spend overnight in hotel in Kathmandu.

In the morning, transfer to the airport and fly home.
