Looking for something a little different on your trip to Evora, Portugal? Well this is the tour for you! This eight-day multi activity tour will introduce you to some of the most fun activities and landscapes that the country has to offer.
Day one will start with your arrival to Evora and a check-in to your hotel. After you are settled in, you’ll head out for a dinner at the farm with your guides and other group members. Day two will consist of an amazing full-day biking trip along the eco-trail. You’ll have the opportuntity to ride on a trail that was built on top of an old railway and is solely for bikers or walkers. Mid-way through the day, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch on the side of the trail before heading back to Evora for a night of relaxation.
The third day of this amazing tour will bring you on a fantastic canoeing excursion. You will enjoy an amazing paddle down a very flat river, which is perfect for beginners and first time paddlers. After the canoe trip, you will take a jeep tour through the local forest. Along the way, you’ll enjoy views of the amazing olive trees, the cork trees and many species of animals including ducks, storks and herons. Day four will consist of an amazing walking tour in the city of Evora. You will walk approximately 8kms and will see many of the most famous attractions in the city. After exploring, you’ll spend the rest of the day relaxing by the pool at your hotel.
The fifth day of the tour will simply be a free day to yourself. Our suggestions of activities include relaxing by the pool, visiting the Monsaraz Mediaeval Village or doing nothing! Day six will introduce you to the amazing farm life of Evora. You’ll spend the day picking herbs, planting trees and participating in an archery tournament at the end of the day.
The seventh day will bring you on a drive to see the amazing megalithic monuments. You’ll enjoy seeing monuments that date back to 5000 BC! The last day of the tour will consist of your departure. Your guides will drive you back to the Serrado de Baixo airport and you’ll head home!
