Trip Info

Let Awesome Tours help you experience Natures Wonders on one of their daily small group Argo Wildlife Tours. The beautiful Otago Peninsula provides the scenery on this exhilarating off-road adventure, but it’s the wildlife that steals the show.

Rugged coastline and windswept cliffs harbour New Zealand Fur Seals, Hookers Sea Lion (among the world’s rarest), Blue Penguin (arguably the world’s cutest), the majestic Royal Albatross (world’s largest wingspan) and the Yellow-Eyed Penguin (the world’s rarest). Choose from one of three tours. Argo Wildlife, The Albatross Colony or the all new Sheep Shed & Argo Wildflife Combo tour.

Argo Wildlife Tour:
Natures Wonders Argo tour of the world famous Yellow Eyed Penguin and NZ Fur Seal colonies.

The Albatross Colony:
You can choose to take a tour of the Royal Albatross Colony instead of Natures Wonders (not both unless by prior arrangement ). The world’s only mainland breeding colony of the Royal Albatross.

Sheep Shed & Argo Wildlife Combo Tour:
This tour begins by taking you inside a genuine NZ sheep shed. Expect a hands-on experience, as you take in the energy and excitement of a working shearing shed. Then it is time to be charmed by wildlife, during a Natures Wonders Agro tour.
