- Try your skill at fishing wild trout in mountain streams.
- Unwind as you breath in fresh mountain air.
- Fish streams that are full of wild trout not stocked by any organizations.
This fishing excursion will be one for the memory books! There is no other place better to fish than in the wilderness. These fishing streams are full of wild trout that have been reproduced in these waters. There is no stocking of streams here by the Department of Natural Resources or any other organization. Many public streams are stocked due to over fishing. This is what makes the spots you will visit special. Some of these places are hard to find and some are had to access. No worries with your private guide who has lived these waters for years.
Your guide, at a prearranged location, will meet you. Once we arrive at one of the fishing spots of the day, the fun begins. The wild trout can be harder to catch than a stocked trout. You will find these fish are skittish. They will not go down without a fight. This is one part of the fun! Expect to catch any of the Rainbow, Brown and Brook trout in these waters. They can average from eight to 20 plus inches in length.
You will probably have an overwhelming sense of relaxation as you breath in the mountain air.
