Trip Info

Discover Essaouira with an unforgettable one-day private excursion. Also known as the White City, there is evidence it has been occupied since prehistoric times.

You will be picked up at your hotel in Marrakech by your driver and guide. There is a vast landscape to take in during our journey, with a few villages, camels, goat and sheep herds grazing in peace along the way. You will see dry vegetation that changes to Argan trees, which only grow in this type of environment. The goats climb theses trees to eat the berries. If desired, you can stop to sample the argan oil from a small all-woman cooperative. This oil is very famous for its uses in the kitchen and especially in the field of cosmetics.

A couple of kilometres further down the road, there is a panoramic view of Essaouira. It is a small blue and white town, reminiscent of the Breton port cities. Once you arrive at the port, you may have the opportunity to stroll along the docks, which are full of life. Watch the fishermen unload their catch of the day and the fishing boats returning to port. There are many activities related to the work of the fishermen. We can also visit the old medina of Essaouira and enjoy a local lunch.

We will return to Marrakech in the afternoon.
