Trip Info
If you love history this is a must do excursion; imagine yourself following the steps of the first settlers that have set foot in this part of Patagonia – a small group of people from Wales that have sailed for 2 months to begin a new life at the opposite side of the world.
The tour starts at the city of Puerto Madryn to continue towards the cities of Trelew and Gaiman (also known as the cities of the low valley of Chubut River). We’ll see the heritage they left as the valley and all the productive area to end at the Welsh town of Gaiman and enjoy the traditional Welsh Tea and on the way back to Puerto Madryn you have the option to visit the Paleontological Museum in the city of Trelew.
