This three-day adventure tour will take you to one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the world. You will visit the tri-coloured crater lakes at the Kelimutu National Park.
Upon your arrival at the Wai Oti airport, your personal guide will meet you. After a lunch at a local restaurant, you will be driven to Detusoko. On the way, we will stop at a Catholic seminary, Ledalero. See the collections of royal families’ portraits, clothes and fossils at this museum. You will see the Lio tribe’s hand woven creations as we stop at Jopu traditional village. If we arrive at the St. Franciscan early, we will enjoy a visit to the hot springs before dinner. Stay overnight at the guest house.
In the morning, we will have a very early start to drive to the hiking portion of the trip. A stop at Nduaria will provide stocking up on fresh fruits and vegetables. Once we hike to the volcano, we will explore the tri-coloured lakes. They appear in brown, turquoise and black. You will then be driven to Paga for lunch. A visit to the Sikka village will be another opportunity to visit with weavers before visiting a Portuguese Catholic Church. A beautiful village with Buginese stilt houses is the next stop before dinner and overnight at Sea World Cottages.
After breakfast, enjoy a traditional dance performance and weaving demonstrations at Watublapi village. This will be the last stop before you are transported back to the airport for departure.
