Day 1: Saigon – Dalat
In the morning, you will be picked up and transferred to La Nga fishing village. Here we will explore the village and learn about the daily life of the locals who have been living on the floating village since 1990. We then continue by minivan to Bao Loc Town, the kingdom of tea and coffee. We will stop at a local coffee shop to taste free tea and coffee, followed by lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will cycle to Dalat city, located about 1,500 meters above sea level. Once there, the evening is free for you to explore the ‘City of Love’. Overnight in Dalat.
Day 2: Dalat city by bike
We will start our day riding around Dalat, known as the second Paris. We will cycle around the lake and visit Bao Dai Palace, the Crazy House, Truc Lam Monastery. Next we will take a ride on the cable car to enjoy the best view of the city. The afternoon is free to spend at your leisure. Overnight in Dalat.
Day 3: Dalat – Nha Trang beach city
Today is a great riding day – we will travel from the hilly city to the beach city, surrounded by beautiful landscapes. We will start our ride going through the vegetable farms of the Dalat countryside, moving on to a thirty-three-kilometer pass that descends to Nha Trang. We will stop for lunch at a local restaurant, then enjoy the last part of our route down the pass where we will relax at the bottom before our minivan transfers us to Nha Trang city. In the evening, we will have dinner at a local seafood restaurant.
Day 4: Nha Trang Boat Trip
In the morning, we will take a boat trip to visit some of the most beautiful islands in the area. We will walk through a fishing village, then take a bamboo basket boat to our boat before continuing to Mun island where we will enjoy snorkeling or scuba diving(optional). Lunch will be at floating village and then we will return to the boat station in the afternoon. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 5: Nha Trang – Tuy Hoa
Enjoy a coastal ride to Dalanh beach where you can spend your morning swimming, relaxing, and feasting on a delicious seafood lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue riding to our destination for the day, Tuy Hoa city. Overnight in Tuy Hoa.
Day 6: Tuy Hoa – Qui Nhon
After a short transfer out of the city, we will enjoy a quiet and peaceful ride through the coastal villages. The ride is quite easy and you will enjoy passing through fishing villages where you can see the daily life of the locals. After lunch, we will continue riding another thirty kilometers along the beach to Qui Nhon. Overnight in Qui Nhon city.
Day 7: Qui Nhon – Quang Ngai
This is a long day today, traveling from Qui Nhon to Quang Ngai City and some transfers are needed. We will cycle through some salt fields, rice paddies and get to know how the locals who make salt in the central of Vietnam. The road is flat and makes for a nice ride, passing through some fishing villages on the way. Overnight in Quang Ngai city.
Day 8: Quang Ngai – Hoi An
In the morning, we will visit the location of the My Lai massacre where you can learn more about the Vietnam war. We then cycle to Tam Ky and onto My Khe Beach. We will have lunch en route, then our minivan will transfer us to Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An City.
Day 9: Hoi An
Your day in Hoi An is free for you to spend at your leisure. You may explore the ancient city, go swimming or partake in a cooking class. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 10: Hoi An – Hue
Today is a long day – awaiting you is the challenging Hai Van Pass, also known as the pass ò sea and cloud. In the past, Hai Van was the division between the two kingdoms ò north and central ò Dai Viet. At the end of the pass, we will make our descent toward Hue Citadel, the old capital of Vietnam before 1945. Overnight in Hue.
Day 11: Hue City
In the morning, we will ride along the bank of the Perfunre River where we can visit some of the emperor tombs of the Nguyen dynasty. Next we will enjoy a boat trip on the river to Thien Mu temple, then cycling around the Citadel before heading back to your hotel. Tonight we will have a farewell dinner to celebrate our wonderful cycling trip in Vietnam.
