Trip Info

You start the visit with a tour around the Valletta Fortifications by horse drawn carriage. Then you start visiting the capital city. You go to the Upper Barracca Gardens to see the best view of the Grand Harbour while enjoying a typical Maltese drink made with bitter oranges and herbs and some nibbles. You will then go to the St John’s Co Cathedral which was the conventual church of the Order of St John, commonly known as the Order of Malta. This richly decorated church with frescoes, 24 carat gold gilded stone sculptures and inlaid marble floor, holds 2 of Caravaggio’s paintings in its oratory. Afterwards you visit the Grand Master’s Palace where there are the Palace state rooms, richly decorated and still used by our President of Republic of Malta. You also visit the Armoury where there are all the armour and weapons of the Knights of the Order of St John. We stop for lunch in one of the restaurants of Valletta to taste the local food, local beer and local wine.

Your adventure awaits!
