Discover the vast landscapes and wildlife species of Uganda on this fantastic wildlife safari! You’ll see some of the most famous animals in the world while learning about their habitats and the history of Uganda.
Day one will start with your arrival to Entebbe. You’ll be transferred from the airport to your hotel where you’ll enjoy a night of great food and relaxation. Day two will bring you to the amazing Kibale Forest National Park on the hunt to see various species of primates. Along the way you will have the chance to see chimpanzees, grey cheeked mangabeys, red tailed monkeys and red colobus. You can finish this day off with an amazing walk in the Bigodi swamp, which brings you through grasslands and small villages to meet the locals.
Day three will bring you back to the Kibale Forest for a day of exploring. During this day, you’ll see at least 12 different species of primates including olive baboons and the blue monkey. You’ll also have the opportuntity to view many different bird species and to catch a glimpse of the forest elephants.
The fourth day of this adventure will bring you to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is Uganda’s second largest park and will introduce you to some of the most amazing wildlife species in the world. Along the way, you may see gazelles, Uganda kobs, warthogs, waterbucks, lions, hippos, elephants and leopards! You’ll continue your trip through the park on day five. Other animals you may see on this day include jackals, hyenas and giant forest hogs. End day five with an awesome boat trip along the Kazinga Channel. During the boat trip, you can see crocs, hippos, buffalo and various species of birds.
This sixth day will bring you to see the Ishasha tree climbing lions in the Queen Elizabeth Park. Along the way, you will see various types of animals and hopefully some lions sleeping in trees! Day seven will introduce you to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Here, you will search for the amazing mountain gorillas. Once you find them, you can watch as they play, eat food and clean each other!
