Take in the very best Uganda has to offer on this eight-day wildlife safari with your guide Richard Kisembo. This tour will take you to many national parks, on many amazing adventures and to see plenty of great animals.
Day one will begin with a pick up from your accommodations in Kampala. You’ll travel to the Murchison Falls National Park where you’ll enjoy a quick lunch before exploring the amazing falls. You’ll witness the raw power of the water from many amazing viewpoints before heading to your lodge for an evening of relaxation.
Day two will consist of an awesome game-drive and a boat cruise. On your game-drive, you will see species such as giraffes, elephants and lions. During the boat cruise, you will see hippos, crocodiles and plenty of bird species. Day two will finish with a wonderful stay in the Budongo Forest.
On the third day of this tour, you will be transferred to Hoima. Once there, you will enjoy a short sightseeing tour and a night of relaxation.
Day four brings you to the amazing Queen Elizabeth National Park. On this day, you will spend a lot of time in the car enjoying wildlife views. You will enjoy a stop to stretch your legs at a tea plantation where you can study the Ugandan countryside.
Spend the fifth day of your tour exploring the Kalinzu Forest and enjoying a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. While in the forest, you will search for the amazing chimpanzees. You can watch as these magnificent animals play, eat food and clean each other. After lunch, your boat cruise will bring you to see many different species of animals including hippos, crocs, elephants and warthogs among others.
Day six will introduce you to the amazing tree climbing lions of Ishasha. You’ll enjoy a great game-drive where you will look to the tree tops for these lazy lions. Later, you will enjoy a delicious lunch before heading back to your lodge for an evening of relaxing.
Day seven will bring you to the Lake Mburo National Park where you will enjoy another game-drive. During the drive, you will see impalas and zebras in their natural habitats.
The final day of your tour will start with an early morning safari walk in the park. You can see many animals up close and personal while your guide shares interesting stories and facts. After your walk, you will be brought back to Kampala where you’ll end the tour.
