Enjoy exploring the natural beauty and wonders of Turkey on this eight-day multi activity tour. You will visit attraction sites as you travel from Istanbul to Bursa and Trabzon.
After arrival at Istanbul Airport, we will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel for free time and overnight in Istanbul. After breakfast at your hotel, we begin with a brief visit to City Walls, Golden Horn and Spice Bazaar with mystical smells of different aromas of various spices. Visit shops selling fruits, vegetables, fish, flowers and souvenirs.
Enjoy a Bosphorus cruise through the waterway that separates the two continents of Europe and Asia. Take photographs of marble palaces, small fishing villages and ancient wooden villas of Ottoman architecture beside modern residential and luxurious apartments. During the excursion, you will pass the magnificent Dolmabahce Palace, Rumeli Fortress, Yildiz Palace, Ciragan Palace and Ortakoy, which is a symbol of tolerance with a church, a mosque and a synagogue existing side by side for centuries.
See Beylerbeyi Palace, the summer residence of Ottoman Sultans with its original furniture and magnificent gardens with the Harem on Asian Side. We will also visit Bosphorus Bridge with a unique chance to step from Europe to Asia in a day. We will also enjoy Camlıca Hill with a panoramic view of Istanbul and Bosphorus from one of the highest and most appealing places of the city.
In the morning, we transfer to airport for a flight to Trabzon. Upon arrival, you will check in to hotel and have a free day on your own to discover the town and overnight in Trabzon. After breakfast, the first stop on the tour will be Surmene, famous for handmade knives. Next, we will see how fabrics are woven in traditional looms and visit the tea groves at Ziraat Botanic Garden in Rize. After stopping for a tea break near the historical old Ottoman Stone Bridge in Storm Valley, we continue to the unique waterfalls situated at the summit of the Ayder highland. Enjoy your lunch and free time in here to discover the Ayder Highland. We will return Trabzon by watching all these beautiful greeneries of Black Sea.
The next day, we depart for Sumela Monastery, founded on the steep surface of the mount having the view of Altındere and the smell of the trees surrounding all area with its picturesque view. After visiting the monastery, we will drive to Karaca Cave, which has many wonderful stalactites and stalagmites, columns, travertine, cave plants and walls with figures. After the cave, we will have a lunch at a local restaurant then drive back to Trabzon for overnight.
On the fifth day, we visit a horse farm and tea factory on our way to Uzungol. It was declared as a Nature Park due to its rich flora, stunning wildlife and outstanding natural beauty. Everywhere is covered with spruce trees, an impressive array of wildlife exists with species such as roe deer, wild boar, bear, badger, lynx, birds of prey, and trout as well as various kinds of reptiles. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and free time on your own. We will return to Trabzon.
Have breakfast at your hotel then transfer to airport for a flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival, you will transfer to your hotel in Istanbul. In the morning, we will take the ferry to Bursa. While enjoying the lovely countryside view, we will drive to Bursa, the first capital city of Ottomans where the Ottoman Empire was first started. Taste its famous Iskender Kebap, walk through its old markets, climb to the Uludag, the legendary mount of Greek Gods, Olympus, by cable car. Visit Ulu Cami, Green Mosque, Green Tomb and The Old Silk Market. See the high quality of silk scarves here. See the real life of Turkish people in the region. End of the day, we drive back to Istanbul.
After breakfast, our tour concludes and we say goodbye to our new friends. We transfer you to the airport.
