Trip Info

Maine is a fantastic place for fishing adventures. With a variety of streams and rivers to choose from, fishing in Maine is an easy decision to make. Possible locations to fish are the Rapid, Magalloway, West Branch Penobscot, or Kennebec Rivers. This tour is excellent for beginners and experienced anglers alike.

Our trout fishing tours take you to the rivers and creeks where you can catch brook trout and landlocked salmon. You can use either spin fishing gear or fly fishing, whichever you feel more comfortable with! You are more than welcome to bring your own equipment. Otherwise, we are more than happy to provide you with the necessary equipment to reel in that big catch.

Many of our guests have taken advantage of the remote trips in Northwoods we offer. On these trips, we fish for native brook trout.

A typical fishing day begins at 7:00 am and runs until 3:00 pm. We will provide lunch. We look forward to guiding you!

Reddog Guide Service

Reddog Guide Service is owned and operated by Maine registered guide, Casey Mowers. Casey was born in Pennsylvania and joined the Navy in 1989. He obtained orders sending him to Maine in 1996, fell in love with the area and retired in Brunswick, Maine.

Casey started hunting at age 12 with his family in Pennsylvania. While stationed in Maine, Casey took advantage of the bountiful hunting opportunities for deer, turkey and upland birds. He later expanded to hunting duck and geese as the area has excellent opportunities to offer. Casey became a guide in 2013 and obtained his Captain's license in 2014.
