Guide

Trip Info

Take a trip back in time and visit two distinct medieval cities: the red brick city of Albi and the fortress city of Carcassone.  Starting in Toulouse, first you will drive to Albi.  Marvel at the construction and architecture of this red brick city and visit the Sainte Cecile Cathedral, a beautifully built and soaring cathedral.  After you have thouroughly explored Albi, we will strike through La Montagne Noire, or the Black Mountain, and reach the fortified and walled city of Carcassone.  Carcassone is the largest fortress in Europe and stands against time as a shining example of a preserved medieval city.
