Tigerfish are indigenous to Africa and possibly the most ferocious fresh water fish on the continent! A Tigerfish will often hit the fly or lure so hard that 20 – 30 lb nylon will part, leaving anglers amazed. The Zambezi River is one of the best systems on earth to fish for Tigerfish and often the banks of this mighty river teems with wildlife, from the big five to small game, while the river is home to hippo and crocodile. This is real Africa with a vibrant African backdrop and a rich culture. We stay in a comfortable river lodge that offers a bar and fantastic meals. Anglers share large Ally boats propelled by reliable 90HP outboards, ideal vessels to both fly fish and spin fish from. Fishermen and non-fishermen are welcome! We meet our clients at O.R. Tambo Airport in South Africa and accompany them on the short flight to Zambia. From Zambia we transport with our clients in minivans to an area near the camp from where we are ferried by boat to our destination.
