We are excited to offer you a classic introduction to India. The cities of Jaipur, Agra and Delhi present the extraordinary wealth of cultural and historical splendor of India. A journey to Ranthambhore National Park, which is famous for Royal Bengal tigers and The Taj Mahal, will be the highlight of the trip.
Over the next 8 days, we will spend our time visiting the most important sites of each city. Our tour begins in Delhi. We will begin by exploring the amazing sites and culture of Old Delhi, highlighted by the JAma Masjid, one of the largest mosques in all of Asia. On our way to New Delhi, we will stop at Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Step back in time as you explore the residence of the Muhgal emperor of India.
After eating lunch, you will be led on a discovery of some of New Delhi’s finest monuments and sites. You will be shown a variety of imperial buildings as well as the heritage sites of Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple and India Gate.
Jaipur, known as the Pink City, is a fantasic place to shop for jewelry and textiles. It is also where the Jaipur City Palace, Palace of winds and Jantar, the observatory are located. We will spend a day exploring all Jaipur has to offer before we travel to Ranthambhore the next day.
We will spend 3 days exploring the Ranthambhore National Park. We will go on a variety of wildlife safaris through the jungle, with a professional nature and wildlife guide by your side. You will be amazed and mesmerized by the sheer strength of the tigers.
Our last city to explore will be Agra. While it is the home of the Taj Mahal, it is much more than just that. Agra has a vibrant culture, and you will thoroughly enjoy exploring this city. We will visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise, a time of day where it appears as if the Taj Mahal is emitting a majestic glow.
