Guide

Trip Info

This amazing adventure in Baja California Sur is dedicated to the discovery of the north part of La Paz Bay.

We start in the morning from La Paz, exploring the southern part of the Sierra Guadalupe, passing through beautiful valleys characterized by multicolored granite formations and continuing on to a magnificent white deserted beach where there will be time for snorkeling. Because we are on the shores of the crystal-clear sea, you can admire a great variety of colorful tropical fish.

Back in the Sierra, we’ll follow a beautiful mountain path, and have a breathtaking glimpse of the island of San Jose. As we continue ascending into the mountains, we’ll arrive at an abandoned mission built in 1721, situated in a surprisingly green oasis, full of fresh spring water and old palm trees.

Then we will drive into the Sierra Guadalupe and set up our first night’s camp next to a river.

The second day we depart for a visit to a very well preserved mission that was founded in 1737, and continue traveling to a magnificent deserted beach along the Pacific where we can relax and enjoy a spectacular sunset.

The third day we will return to La Paz following dirt roads along the ocean, passing spectacular deserted beaches of the Pacific inhabited only by wildlife and a few fishing camps. Several stops will allow bathing in the cool waters of the ocean, depending on the tides and wave situation.

We will wind along ancient paths through deserts of cactus forests, arriving back in La Paz.
