Begin your expedition visiting a blacksmith at his traditional metal forgery where he fixes and creates farming equipment for the people of his community. As a side project, he forges the weapons of ancient warriors famous in Chinese history. Then, after weaving through the mountains, get a taste of the delicious local cuisines at a restaurant perched on the Qinling mountainside. After lunch, discover the region’s incredible historical background from an original point of view. Visit cave dwellings that have been inhabited by locals for generations, and ancient temples in the mountains.
