This is an archeological tour highly recommended for those people who like archeology as we’ll visit one of the most important sites along the Peruvian Central coast. It’s located at 40 km, about 21 miles, south of Lima in an area called Lurin, very close to the former Pan-American Highway.
We combine both walking on the site and the drive-around to visit Pachacamac to maximize the experience. On the way to go to Pachacamac, we are going to stop in one of the oldest and most popular areas of Lima called Barranco which used to be known as the city of the windmills, as some years ago they were seen all over the area. Today, just one of them is left. This area was once considered one of the richest beach resorts in the city during the 19th and the 20th centuries.
Then, we drive to Chorrillos, famous for its beach of Agua Dulce before ending the tour.
