- Helicopter assistance is available to allow easy access to the highest mountain reaches to obtain the best trophies
This guided hunt takes place in New Zealand’s spectacular Southern Alps and can be undertaken with or without helicopter assistance. We hunt the King of the New Zealand Alps, the mighty Himalayan Bull Tahr as well as the smaller and more delicate Alpine Chamois.
A reasonable level of fitness is required for this hunt although a helicopter insertion and retrieval (at an additional cost) will allow for a less demanding hunt. A good quality set of footwear is essential for all alpine hunting!
