Trip Info
The Mara River flows between Kenya and Tanzania, between the Serengeti and Masai Mara National Parks. This is an amazing location to observe the wildebeests and zebra migration. The herbivores gather in groups of 10,000 before crossing the river, in hopes of out numbering their predators. The wildlife concentration, the high activity of the predators (lions, crocodiles, hyenas and leopards, in particular), and the spectacular river crossings create an amazing stage where the fight for survival is very real. This migration takes place between June-November when the animals are moving North towards the green plains of Kenya. Experience a wildlife safari like no other with Corto Safaris.
