Trip Info
Visit two natural islands that lay side-by-side in the Siene River. The famous Ile de la Cite and Ile Saint Louis provide fascinating history of the development of the city of Paris. The Ile de la Cite is the site of the earliest settlements in Paris and today boasts some of the city’s more monumental edifices. The Ile Saint Louis is an oasis of peace amid the bustle of the city, and home to many cafes, restaurants, and historical curiosities. The two islands are connected by the Pont Saint Louis, a bridge providing a glimpse of the Notre Dame Cathedral from the rear, one of it’s best angles. Top off your visit with a scoop of the famous Berthillion ice cream!
