Guide

Trip Info

According to legend, the tequila was born when lightning split and boiled the heart of the blue agave maguey. The Indians discovered that slipped inside fragrant nectar, which since then considered as a divine gift. The tequila, the par excellence Mexican drink, has created a unique world around it. It is also the representation of the confluence of two worlds, the Mexican agave, and the Spanish distillation process (which in turn was learned from the Arabs). Tequila is as mestizo as our race. It is defined as obtaining hot water fermentation and distillation of water, honey, pineapple, tequilana weber blue agave (so called because the classification made by the German biologist Weber in the early twentieth century).

During the sightseeing tour we’ll talk about “Mundo Cuervo”, as well as visiting many important sites to the history of tequila, including: Tequila Museum, Museum Campus “Javier Sauza Mora” Square, Temple of St. James the Apostle and agave plains.

Your adventure awaits!
