Trip Info

This is a two-day journey across the Sahara desert to explore the region’s spectacular views and attractions. It will be an adventure of a lifetime with many opportunities to take pictures.

The High Atlas Mountains will be a beautiful sight as we cross the Tichka Pass. A stop at the Argon Oil Cooperative will show the skills of the women as they create various products. The ancient fortified city of Ait Benhaddou will be explored. Although most of the local residents live in modern housing, there are four families that reside here. A lunch break at a local restaurant will get you fueled for an afternoon of touring among the Anti Atlas Mountains, several Agdez Berber villages and the Draa Valley. Upon arrival in Zagora, you will enjoy a camel ride to view the sunset at the top of the sand dunes. After a local dinner and entertainment, a good night sleep in a nomad tent will be well deserved.

An early morning start will give you a fabulous sunrise show before heading back to the Zagora hotel for breakfast and to freshen up. Along the way back to Marrakech, we will pass through Draa Valley and stop at the Taourirt Kasbah. A lunch at a local spot will end the desert tour.
