Trip Info

Taman Negara is a 130 million year-old tropical rainforest with rivers, waterfalls, secret caves, mountains, rolling hills and various flora and fauna. On this nature tour, you will see some of the 14,000 flowering plants, 238 fresh water fish and 14 of the most threatened mammals. These include elephants, tigers, sumatran rhinoceros, sun bear and tapir.

You will leave early after breakfast on the jungle safari. Around mid-morning, we will arrive at Taman Negara. Hang on tight as you encounter a canopy bridge which is the longest in South East Asia at 530 meters. The view makes it worth everything as you have a birds-eye view of the world’s oldest rainforest!

Along the walk to Teresek Hills, you will learn suprising facts about your surroundings. You may even be lucky to see a flying fox or monkey! Enjoy a picnic lunch in the forest.

A stop at an Aborigine Village will give you insight into their traditions and culture. You will get to watch their firemaking skills and blowpipe hunting techniques. They live off the land and depend on the forest for food.

You will shoot the rapids as your boatman takes you on a tour of seven complete rapids. This is why a change of clothes will do you well!

Relax with a bite to eat at the Floating Cafe before heading back to Kuala Lumpur.
