This one day car tour takes you to the historic Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, as well as other heritage sites Agra is known for: The Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri. Stand in awe of the Taj Mahal, the biggest, most elaborate expression of love known to man and much more as you discover the heritage sites of Agra!

8:10 am – Arrive in Agra
You will be picked up from the railway station & transferred to the hotel for the use of the restrooms and to be introduced to the guide.

9:00 am – Taj Mahal
Visit the magnificent Taj Mahal! One of the Seven Wonders of the World, it is the most extravagant expressions of love ever created. More than 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shan Jahan’s beloved wife.

11:00 am – Agra Fort
The Agra Fort, a rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort, stands on the banks of the Yamuna River. Its construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566.

12:45 pm – Lunch
We will make our way to a five-star hotel for a buffet lunch.

2:00 pm – Fatehpur Sikri
We will make our way to Fatehpur Sikri, a perfectly preserved red sandstone “Ghost Town.” It is the estranged capital of Mughal Emperor Akar, built in 1569. It was deserted when its water supply ran out.

6:00 pm – Exploration at your Leisure
You will have roughly an hour and a half of free time to explore Agra’s rich heritage and the many handicrafts for sale in the markets.

7:30 pm – Departure
The Shatabdi Express departs Agra. You will be able to enjoy dinner on the train.
