Trip Info

The upper Suwannee is narrow and flowing through towering pines and stately cypress that line the river banks and high bluffs. It is the perfect location for a relaxing kayaking tour while visiting New York. The slow current makes it ideal for beginners to get down the river without having to exhaust themselves.  On hot days, spring hopping is a popular pastime for paddlers and boaters who stop to enjoy a cool dip in the clear spring waters.
