Trip Info

“A Picturesque View of England”

Join our guided tour, where we explore Shakespeare’s birthplace, the beautiful countryside and the quaint villages of rural England. On the day tour, we will depart Cambridge at 8:00 am, and make stops at Stratford and the Cotswolds.

Stratford is a pretty little market town, located on the banks of River Avon. The amazing architectural legacy of the medieval times is apparent here, highlighted by numerous wood-framed houses that line the busy shopping streets. This town was also once home to one of the most famous poets, playwrights, and actors in the history of the world! Visit Shakespeare’s birthplace, the Royal Shakespeare Company Theatre, and the church of his burial.

The second part of this heritage-history tour is a visit to the Cotswolds, one of the most beautiful regions of southern England. Take in the beautiful views of the rolling hills, rivers, wooded valleys, and sheep grazing in the fields. The Cotswolds is known for its beautiful honey-colored villages. Visiting the Cotswolds will feel like stepping into a time machine and being transported back in time, to a world free of modern day technology. This is the true England!
