Your knowledgeable and expert guide will pick you up at your hotel or port and drive to the Parish of St Paul’s. Enjoy the spectacular scenery and unique culture as we travel 16 miles along the west coast. The island is filled with Caribbean colorful architecture, lush vegetation, green mountains and amazing flora and fauna. See the turquoise Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean.
We pass through the Village of Middle Island, see the oldest Anglican Church and the famous Brimstone Hill Fortress. At St. Paul’s, we drive through the Belmont Estate to the starting point of our hike. While most of the path is average, guests should be reasonably fit as the last section is filled with huge tree root and rocks. There will be spots to stop and venture on a ledge for unbelievable views and pictures.
At the highest point of the island, the volcano stands at 3,792 feet. On top, the volcano rim is 2,800 feet above sea. After a 2-hour hike, you will be surrounded by clouds with a view known as a Giants Salad Bowl.
Enjoy a prepared picnic lunch as you sit on the volcano crater rim. The hike down will be just as amazing if not better as you will have a spectacular view of the region.
