Trip Info
Are you a photographer or wildlife enthusiast eager to experience an African photographic safari of a lifetime? This wildlife photography tour takes place in the South Luangwa National Park, one of Zambia’s most sought-after wildlife sanctuaries with the pristine Luangwa River.
You will be nestled in photographic hides that are used regularly by National Geographic, BBC and Discovery Channel for numerous photographic shoots and making of wildlife documentaries. These hides are not just for photographers as they are perfect for anyone who loves wildlife. They provide an up-close-and-personal view into the lives of the animals, enabling you to watch them undisturbed in their natural environment.
Enjoy eight nights with Shenton Safaris with nights one to four at Kaingo Camp and nights five to eight resting at Mwamba Bush Camp. You will have access to specially designed photographic hides that have been astutely placed in prime game viewing locations. These hides have been built by and are reserved exclusively for the guests of Shenton Safaris!
Both camps are situated in game-rich areas with up to three safaris per day, in one of the world’s greatest wildlife sanctuaries. There are intense concentrations of game species around the Luangwa River and surrounding oxbow during the dry season of August through November, with the peak being September and October.
We will be lead by professional guides that have an intimate knowledge of the area and its wildlife. The Kaingo Camp is renowned for high quality leopard and lion sightings. There will also be a possibility of seeing lion and hippo interactions.
Your adventure awaits!
