Trip Info

Spend a day fishing the popular salmon species, Sockeye. This tour concentrates fishing in the protected and calm waters of the Alberni Canal. Sockeye are a highly sought after fish because they are the most tasty of all salmon. These fish average six pounds and provide a wonderful opportunity for families to introduce children to salmon fishing.

When the Sockeye bite is on, the action can be crazy. The catch limits are four per person. These particular fish runs start in late June and continues through to the end of July. Prime time is the first two weeks of July.

Our trips depart from Port Alberni and our homeport of Clutesi Haven Marina.
