Trip Info

Lots of kiters in the Northern hemisphere go snowkiting on frozen lakes or on the sea. You can take the same kite that you use in Summer and add snowboard or skis and have fun. Now imagine that you do it on a three dimensional surface with the breathtaking Lapland landscape around you. Every kiter should try it at least once. In the North of Finland, where the Father Christmas lives, there is thousands of square kilometres of pure, untouched powder snow. It is an area of natural beauty and driving snow mobiles are not allowed. To get there you need dogs, reindeer or…your kite. Around 500-700 metres above the sea level there are constant winds.
