    Pre-trip planning support, fully certified IFMGA guide and/or ACMG Ski guide service, helicopter access to Basecamp and back to Nelson, all breakfasts and dinners while on the trip, tents, group shelter and cooking equipment for winter camping, group safety equipment (communication device).

    This is an intermediate to advance ski program. Not included in price: individual lunches, snacks, personal ski touring boots, skis, skins or splitboard, personal avalanche safety equipment, transportation to meeting location, additional charges due to changes in itinerary or group number, trip cancellation, adventure travel insurance, medical insurance.

Highlights

  • Experience a variety of adventurous day trips from our basecamp location.
  • Explore various areas and valleys, including: the headwaters of Kokanne creek, Glory Basin and Nilsik creek
  • Our backcountry basecamp will be in the pristine Serpentine Lake area near Kokanee Glacier Provincial Park with an average yearly snowpack exceeding 3 meters!
  • On the last day, we will be back in camp at 4pm in time for our short flight back to Nelson. After a well-deserved shower, we will meet for a group dinner and celebrate a successful trip!

Trip Info

This adventurous 3- day backcountry ski program starts in Nelson BC, where we will be taking a helicopter directly to our well-located basecamp. With its cluster of tents, group and cooking shelters, this camp will become our wilderness hub for the duration. From this hub, we will be touring in various directions every day in search of powder slopes to fully explore the vastness of this area.
