Trip Info

Explore the great sand sea in Egypt! Siwa Oasis is one of the most mysterious of all Egypt’s oases and the most fascinating oasis in the western desert.

Enjoy this jeep safari that takes you through the history that has not only been shaped through the ancient civilizations but also by the contrast of the surrounding desert and the sand so it has no equal. We will check out the strange ruins of the Shali Fortress, which dominates the town center. Walk along sandy paths to find the Temple of the Oracle, once visited by Alexander the Great himself.

Finish your day by taking a dip at Cleopatra’s Pool, where the legendary queen herself is believed to have once swum. You will have the opportunity to buy some Siwan crafts on your way and visit the charming Siwa House Museum.

On this tour, we visit the Mountain of the Dead, a small hill at the northern end of Siwa Town. It is honeycombed with rock tombs peppered with amazing wall paintings. We will also see a hot spring near the freshwater lake at Bir Wahed, where sulphurous water bubbles in a pool and runs off to irrigate a garden. Watching the sunset over the dunes while soaking in a hot spring is a breathtaking experience.

Explore the Temple of the Oracle, the most important temple in the entire Egyptian desert built in the 6th century B.C. A trip to Cleopatra’s Bath will highlight the day as crystal-clear water gurgles up into a large stone pool, which is a popular bathing spot for locals as well as tourists.

Have a fun adventure quad biking in the great sand sea. Cross the amazing dunes and beautiful landscape surrounding the Siwa Oasis.
