Our journey takes us north through the hilly landscape of the west coast until we reach Óbidos.
Visit to Obidos “Village of Queens”, walking tour and free time. Free Cherry Liqueur tasting.
Peniche rock formations at Cabo Carvoeiro.

Visit the imposing Mafra convent. Mafra is the largest Baroque building in Portugal and larger than the Escorial, near Madrid, with 4700 windows and doors, a carillon with 114 bells.
Remembrance of the golden age of Portugal, from the german architect Johann Friedrich Ludwig and built under King John V.

Short break for you to taste in the numerous cafes opposite “Pastelarias” the old traditional convent sweets.

Departure to Sintra.

Sintra as hunting residence of Portuguese kings and today world cultural heritage by the UNESCO.

Visit to the Royal Palace (depending on client’s time and wish).

*The Mafra Convent is partly closed on Tuesdays. Only the Basilica can be visited.
