  • Game viewing will begin as soon as you enter Shimba Hills, Kenya's last remaining habitat of the rare Sable Antelope (endemic to this reserve).
  • You can visit the Sheldrick Waterfall on foot – a 45 minute gentle hike downhill through tropical rainforest takes you to the breathtaking waterfall.
  • Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch with spectacular views overlooking the park right to the Indian Ocean.
  • On the drive home we take the road less travelled passing by rural villages, we stop for a short break in the village for a cold drink.

Join us on a fabulous Safari Day Trip to the beautiful Shimba Hills National Reserve in Kenya. As well as games drives in this lovely little national park, our full day itinerary includes a Waterfall Walk to the stunning Sheldrick Falls with a KWS Ranger, as well as taking the roads less travelled through the rural villages to get home, all in 4×4 Safari Style with a top guide! Throughout the day your guide will share with you his knowledge and stories of wildlife, culture and life in Kenya. This will also include stopping off in a small village and enjoying a cold drink, giving you an insight into a traditional way of life.
