Trip Info

This exciting jeep safari tour will take you to National Parks of Tanzania and all over the Serengeti for a wildlife adventure. This package includes all park entrance fees, 4WD transportation, all meals while on the safari, drinking water and guide services.

On day one, you will be picked up in Arusha and transferred to Lake Manyara National Park. Spend the afternoon on a game drive and discover why this Park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a shallow Soda Lake located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s Western escarpment. The varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants. Lake Manyara is also unique for it’s tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos.

Day two will see you head to the Serengeti National Park via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, descend into the heart of wild Africa, the Serengeti National Park, with it’s endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. First visit the central park area, the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park which features the Seronera River. The river provides a valuable water source to this area, therefore attracting wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. After lunch, take an afternoon game drive through the park.

On day three, you will experience something that only a few fortunate people have had the chance to partake in, you will glide over the Serengeti Plains in a hot air balloon. Float silently above the awakening bush while spotting wildlife and enjoying the amazing scenery of Africa, across rivers and over numerous small villages.

After breakfast, depart to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Make a stop at Olduvai Gorge where important discoveries in human evolution were made. After arriving at the Conservation Area and enjoying a lunch, descend over 600 m into the crater to view wildlife on a safari tour. See herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephants. Another attraction to the area is the dense population of predators which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and leopards. Visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the Southwestern corner of the crater.

On your last day of your safari tour, you’ll be transferred back to Arusha where you will have lunch before ending your African adventure. It is possible to have another half day game drive in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area if you are not restricted to an early departure from Arusha, please note an additional cost will apply.
