Trip Info

Discovering the Mekong countryside by bike is one of the best ways to experience the real Mekong Delta. This adventure bike trip in the Mekong is three days long and will take you deep into the daily life of the locals. Stay overnight with them, have a boat trip to see the Mekong Floating Market, cycle through villages, rice paddies and much more – we are waiting for you to discover the mighty river.

Day 1: Saigon – Mekong Homestay: L/D
In the morning, you will be picked-up and transferred to the Mekong Countryside. You will cycle through a rural area, into the heart of the rice basket of Vietnam. We will stop at a local market before continuing our ride, with some local ferry crossings along the way. Stop en route for lunch, followed by a boat trip transfer to the island where you will cycle to local home stay. In the evening, join in with your host and help to prepare some dishes. Overnight at local homestay.

Day 2: Homestay – Can Tho City: B/L
Enjoy breakfast, then say good-bye to your host. We will then go for a ride on the island to experience morning activities, continuing on to Vinh Long where we will stop for lunch. In the afternoon, we will cycle onto single tracks and narrow paved roads to Cantho. We will be picked-up by minivan and transferred to Cantho city. In the evening we will have dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3: Can Tho Floating market – Saigon: B/L
First thing in the morning we will take a private boat trip to experience the floating market. Here you will see a hundred boats selling fruits, vegetables, and so much more – try a breakfast here or simply a coffee. Disembark the boat for a two hours ride through quiet villages. When the ride is finished we will take the van back to Saigon, with a stop en-route for lunch.

Your adventure awaits!
