As seen on Tripadvisor: “Excellent Tour!” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2014 First, you cannot go wrong having Adrian as your tour guide. He is very caring and sympathetic towards your needs, AND he really knows the way around (along with the background/history of each place you would go to). He is also an excellent translator to other people for your needs. Second, my mother and I had the opportunity to see and learn a lot about Romania through private tours. Although I tried to research Romania before we flew there, I did not find a lot of info. However, Adrian cleared the details very well and I admit that there was so much that I even forgot some of the things we saw :) It’s time to go back. Bran Castle and the Salt Mine are 2 of the main things during the trip that are still in my mind. Highly recommend the tours. Very enjoyable and entertaining. As seen on Tripadvisor: “Adrian ROCKS!” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2014 It is not possible to go wrong with Adrian as your tour guide. When we went to the winery, it was an extremely wet and rainy day. We got stuck in the mud, not before some excellent driving and attempts to make it up the hill though! He calmly called the winery and they brought the tractor to pull us up the hill. The winery itself was state of the art and I learned so much. The salt mine is amazing, as are the mud volcanos. If you have a free day in Romania, you do not want to miss this tour! Visited January 2014 – Dianna Chatterjee – USA

As seen on Tripadvisor: “The best way to spend a day in/near Bucharest” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2014 2 weeks ago, my wife and I were taken on Adrian’s tour of the salt mines, Lacerta wines, muddy volcanoes. Not only were these terrific sites to see, but Adrian was a terrific guide. He was extremely eager to tailor his tour anyway we wanted and provided us a lot of information about these sites and Romania in general. He was a great conversationalist, willing to answer our questions on the most contentious questions and we discussed a great many topics. We really appreciated that he has a great camera and a photographer’s eye, since he took pictures we wanted, but I wasn’t able to capture. I highly recommend Adrian. He is an excellent guide, with passion for his country, driven to provide you an entertaining and comfortable day. He is certainly the most facinating guide/construction worker/beekeeper/photographer/yogi/international man of mystery I have ever met. Visited March 2014 – Aidan Murdock – Canada

As seen on Tripadvisor: “A Rare Find” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2014 My brother and I were to a congress in Bucharest and had two days open . We organized two trips with Adrian Rusu of The Fixers. Contacting Adrian by email was promptly replied and all the information was given . Our first trip took us to the underground Salt mines, a wine farm and to the mud volcanos while the 2nd trip a few days later took us to visit some of the castles in the mountains. Both trips were worthwhile and very well worked out. Adrian is honest very knowledgeable and a great personality . He is willing to customise the trip to your liking. We surely was very satisfied and surprised and learned a lot of the people and the country of Romania through Adrian. Visited April 2014 – Johan Jansen van Vuuren – South Africa

As seen on Tripadvisor: “Fabulous guide! Fun and knowledgeable!!!” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2014 Adrian’s tours were both wonderful! He picked us up, waited on us to finish breakfast…and was so flexible about everything we wanted to do. The first day, we saw the salt mines and Adrian took pictures for us with his great camera because my camera could not take a good picture. Next, we went wine tasting at Lacerta. Then decided we had so much fun and great wine at the wine tasting we should just head home. He was more than willing to be flexible and do what we asked. And we got a great history lesson as well. The next day we toured the castles and he taught us so much during those two days because he is very knowledgeable and easy to listen to!! If I go back I would definitely call him. I recommend to anyone to take your tour with Adrian! Great prices as well! Visited April 2014 – Heather F – Brussels, Belgium

As seen on Tripadvisor: “Above and Beyond – Adrian Knows Romania” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2014 We absolutely enjoyed our day with Adrian. Not only is he very knowledgeable about Bucharest and the surrounding area, we thoroughly enjoyed his insight and observations about local culture and customs. The guy has everything! When I forgot to charge my camera battery overnight, he promptly pulled out a charger from the trunk – and I was charging as we drove along. Also – while visiting the salt mines (do not miss – really – you don’t want to miss the salt mines) he provided me with a tripod that enabled me to take some fantastic photos. We were a group of 4, and (as a group) can honestly say that Adrian went above and beyond to make our stopover in Bucharest a memorable one. Keep up the good work! Highly recommended! As seen on Tripadvisor: “Salt Mines and Mud Volcanoes” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2014 The salt mines and Mud Volcanoes was a great relaxing come down day after a night on the town watching Northern Ireland vs Romania a couple of days before. If Salt mines or Mud volcanoes were not your thing, Adrian kept you entertained and informed with his knowledge of Romanian history, culture both for Romania in the past, present and future. The salt mines themselves were huge and should rival the main tourist destination for Salt mines outside Krakow. They were bigger and grander and had a lot more to see. The winery was a great insight into the process of fine wines from start to finish; the owner made you feel welcome and at home. Was glad I could smuggle three bottles through customs on the plane back home as the taste was stupendously tasty. Mud volcanoes were like walking on the moon and made great selfie-pics. If you want to see the Romanian countryside and increase your knowledge of eastern Europe, this is the tour for you… Visited November 2014 – Martyn Magee – Northern Ireland
