A seven hour food lovers tour of Montréal, where we walk, use the metro and city buses. We can stop and rest often, however this is meant for those who like to stay fit, enjoying discovering on foot with no back or mobility issues.

I was the first guide giving food tours in Montreal since 1993 for food magazines and food travel programs. My passion for cooking, food and culinary discoveries extends around the world. I would love to show you Montreal’s unique neighbourhoods, specialty shops, iconic food places, unique kitchenware stores and of course the largest year-round market in North America will be some of our stops.
Montreal is considered North America’s top food lovers destination not just for fine dining but for everyday food life.
The tour is a casual relaxed tour full of unusual anecdotes, and Montreal food facts. Included will be stops to taste seasonal products and Montreal flavours. Come and discover some hidden gems and the people involved in their love and passion for food in Montreal. Have a light breakfast, you will not need to have lunch.
The tour is a local experience which will include life style, local living and more . By the end of the day you will feel as if you have been part of Montreal like a traveller.

A self-employed freelance licensed Montreal local guide since 1992. I am passionate about what I do and love what I do. I am a native English speaker who speaks several other languages. I offer unique local experiences and private customized tours to solo travellers, couples, groups. My expertise is with corporate, business and conventions, luxury travellers, public figures YPO, diplomatic and delegations. With a background in event planning, travel directing and working with DMCs, I can provide experiences for planners who would like to give delegates a local experience during meetings when there is often little time after the meeting. Having worked in media relations since 1994, I also offer media, travel film crews with the services of a fixer, including creating content for hosts, sometimes working with hosts on camera. I offer private tours to leisure travellers, shore excursions for cruise ship passengers. Over my career, I was the guide who created the first food tours, Jewish, Italian, Greek, Scottish, Irish, Black Heritage Tours. I created 15 neighbourhood, art, fashion tours which I continue to offer. My specialties: Leonard Cohen Tours, local culinary foodie tours, art tours, architecture, design history, fashion and neighbourhood discoveries. I over walking tours, walking tours using public transportation,step-on guide services on motorcoaches, sprinters, mini-coaches. Private tours with a driver in a sedan, limousine or SUV. I also drive and guide in Montreal only in a car, SUV or minivan for up to 5 passengers. For walking tours: 1 guide for every 15 visitors. * For groups that are larger please let me know I can include quotes with other guides Driving tours: 1 guide for every moving vehicle * I can put you in contact with companies so that you can book your transportation separately. I am also a public speaker and am hired by event planners to speak at events, including spouse & accompanying persons programmes. Planners, DMCS and Conferences organisers also hire my services for registration, private concierge, logistics, travel directing both at home and abroad. I accompany both corporate, incentive and leisurely groups on travel around the world. I also organise my own specialised food, art and dance trips to southern Europe, the middle east, India and Asia. My background includes working as a conicerge and front office at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel, the airport, transporation company Areocar- Murray Hill in operations, mareketing and the sightseeing division, the Montreal Convention Centre, Incentive Houses, Planners in Canada, the USA, UK, Europe, the Middle East and Egypt, all of the DMC in Montreal. From 1992 to 2017 for Tourism Montreal as Media Relations Manager, working with the Sales team, convention, communication departements. With Tourism Quebec and the Canadian Tourism Commission on contract for projects. Including on FAM trips, site inspections, RFP and bidding, representing sales and media team at trade events around the world and in Canada including MPI, PCMA, Travel Writers Societies and other media events. I am president emeritius of the World Federation of Tourist Guides Associations and our local organisation in Montreal. I volunteering ffor both organisation for over 27 years. I organised all of the international conventions from 1997 to 2007 and 2017. Created the orginal website, content, documented archives, created their marketing planning, media engagements, created the bidding documents, convention plans, contributing to development of training division, policy and procedures took care of international relations, managed a number of portfolios and more. I was also the person who introduced a convention run with no wastage, sustainable, environmentally friendly and documented it. I was the WFTGA youngest board member and president of the international organisation, the only Canadian, the only visual minority, speaking eight languages and had the pleasure of serving with an exeptional board members from several countries from 1997 to 2007. I returned on the board from 2015 to 2019 and both trained, co ordinated, helped organise voluntarily the 2017 convention in Iran and trained and coached the bidding countries. I created the orginally Cultural Awareness Workshop for the industy given on several occassions which were very popular. Workshops on Career Development, How to work with media, Working with Business Travellers and Diplomatic Delegations and more. I have travelled to over 125 countries and lived in many learning languages, culture, food, art, music as well as volunteering. I am a photographer, a dance instructor, a singer, I love art, food and am a firm believer in tolerance, patience and kindness to all.
