Trip Info

Take a scenic walking tour of Rose hall area, then a stop at the world famous Rose Hall Great House. Reaching the entrance you will notice the historical Rose Hall Mansion overlooking the Caribbean sea. The house was built in 1770 and is of Georgian architecture. It was the residence of John Palmer, who married Annie, a beautiful English girl, who was later known as the “white witch of Rose Hall”. At Rose Hall Great House you will hear stories of witch craft, black magic, murder, and slaves exacting revenge on his lover, Annie Palmer. It is said that Annie Palmer murdered her four (4) husbands and numerous slaves who lived and worked on the plantation.

You will then travel to the HIP STRIP where there are so many great products that it’s guaranteed that you’ll be tempted to shop. It might be colorful beachwear, evening fashions, an exquisite piece of art, an ultra-smart purse, a tropical shirt, a gorgeous piece of jewelry, rum , coffee or native crafts; just to name a few.
