Trip Info

This is a heritage – history tour to highlight the connections between Denmark (and also Britain) to Russia and The Romanovs. Marie Federovna, otherwise known as Danish Princess Dagmar married Alexander III of Russia and was mother to the last Tzar Nicholas II. Her elder sister Princess Alexendra married Queen Victoria’s eldest son The Prince of Wales who after Victoria died became King Edward VII. Both Danish Princesses became Empresses because of these marriages.

On the Tour, we will visit many of the Sites where these 2 Danish Princesses lived or were connected too and eventually retired too after their respective husbands died.
