Trip Info

The Colorado Rocky Mountains are home to millions of acres of Aspen trees. Come Fall, those Aspen leaves explode into amazing expanses of fluorescent yellows, fiery reds and brilliant oranges. With their unique pole straight white bark contrasting against the colored leaves, the Aspen trees of Colorado rank as one of the most beautiful Fall photographic destinations.

Beyond the Aspen’s salute to color, you also are treated to newly snow capped mountain peaks making the perfect background for your photographs. Crisp, clean, cloudless skies dominates the Fall season causing the leaves to glow with a nearly unnatural iridescence.

Single day tours will take place in the Central Rockies between Denver, Vail, Aspen and surrounding areas. The location of the “prime” colors change as the Fall season progresses (starting earlier in upper elevations and making their way down the mountains). This means that our specific tour itinerary will vary depending where the leaves are turning at the date of your tour.

Popular locations include Guanella Pass, Mount Evans, Virginia Pass, Golden Gate Park and many others.
