Trip Info

If you want to get to know the true Rio, this is the tour for you! From exploring the three most known attractions to a tour of the inner part of the city, you will be amazed at the hidden treasures!

The first part of the tour begins early morning once your guide picks you up in a reliable air-conditioned car. Rio is famous for its beaches and everyone will enjoy seeing Copacabana, Ipanema, Flamengo and others. After passing through Lagoon, a short stop at the Tijuca National Park will be a welcome visit. Then, it is on to Christ the Redeemer, a Christian symbol admired around the world. This is one of the three most popular landmarks in Rio. The other ones are Sugarloaf Mountain and Maracana football stadium, which also will be seen on this tour.

You will note in an old neighborhood of Rio is where the Royal Family lived. The area now is known as the SoHo of the city. See the narrow winding streets of the Santa Teresa neighborhood where many artisans live. The mansions of the upper class residents still stand here from when first built years ago. Although Lapa is known for its nightlife, you will be able to see the busy day activities of the residents and businesses. A stop at the colorful Mosaic Steps between the two neighborhoods will showcase the talent of the artist Jorge Selaron.

On this tour, you will also have time for a walk through part of the Tijuca Forest which boosts more than 30 waterfalls. A dip in the magnificent falls will bring the day to a perfect close.
