Trip Info

River rafting is one of the most memorable and peaceful experiences in Jamaica. Departing from the pier or hotel, you will enjoy a scenic drive along the northern coast and through the countryside en route to the Martha Brae Rafting village.

Upon arrival, enjoy a complimentary drink as you listen to the sounds of the village Mento Band. After a brief tour of the local herb garden, your guide will lead you to your raft. The 30 foot bamboo rafts are built for two and glide slowly down the Martha Brae River, gently meandering through whispering groves of bamboo and ferns as you listen to the chatter of the birds. Your raft makes its way past shaded banks and dappled sunlight as the mild river breeze washes over you. Float along a 3 mile stretch of the river in this tranquil atmosphere for approximately 1 1/2 hours.

At the conclusion of  your ride, disembark at Martha’s rest and browse the souvenir shop or relax in the lounge while you wait for family or friends. After your tour you will return to your ship or hotel.
