Trip Info
Egypt has many wonderful attractions and the pyramids are one of the most popular sites. This private tour will explore the Giza Pyramids and Egyptian Museum.
Your guide will meet you at a prearranged location and travel to the Great Pyramid of Giza. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact. The main part of the complex is a setting of buildings that included two temples in honour of Khufu, three smaller pyramids for his wives and even smaller pyramids.
We will then visit the Egyptian Museum in Cairo where you can find more than 120,000 pharaonic pieces of art. A percentage of these items are in storage and not on display. In the museum, you can see the amazing gold mask of King Tut. On the ground floor, there is a collection of papyrus and coins used in the ancient times. You will also find artefacts from the New Kingdom between 1550 and 1069 BC. On the first floor, there are artefacts from the final two dynasties of Egypt, including items from the tombs of the Pharaohs.
