Poon Hiil Khopra trek is a newly opened trekking trail in the Annapurna region. The trek exposes beauties of nature; such as a beautiful landscape, typical villages of different ethnic groups, sparkling streams, multi-colour blooming rhododendron dense forest, and breath-taking high Himalayas. Walking through the dense rhododendron and pine forest is wonderful, you may encounter wild barking deer, monkeys, and multi-colour birds. The lake Khair barahi Lake is located at the foot of the Annapurna South. Along the trekking trail, you will pass three amazing view points: Poon Hill, Khopra and Mulde Hill, all of the veiwpoints give you spectacular views of western Himalayas. From June to November we can continue on a side trip to Khair Barahi lake and Hidden lake which are a stunning blue colour at the bottom of the Annapurna Himalayas. The trek exposes culture as well, as we reach the popular Gurung villages at Ghandrunk.
