Pioneer Square is the birthplace of Seattle and we help our guests explore the neighborhood through a food and cultural experience – one taste at a time. We developed our tour by researching the diverse food and drink being offered in Seattle’s first neighborhood. What we found is there is truly a culinary renaissance happening. This neighborhood has a colorful history that began right from its earliest beginnings. Pioneer Square was where the early pioneers first settled and began building the city. This neighborhood has seen a major fire that nearly burned the city completely to the ground, the Klondike gold rush boom, the ensuing bust and depression and today a resurgence of life including an emerging culinary scene. Taste Seattle creates an intimate stroll for food lovers focusing on creating a tour where small business owners, artisans, purveyors, farmers, and local restaurant chefs are highlighted. You can expect to try delicious food and drink allowing you to taste your way through the neighborhood with a dash of history, a pinch of Renaissance Revival architecture and fun facts sprinkled on top. Come join us and…Live Life With Flavor and Fun!
